Yes exactly. I simply ported them over here. I assume no credit for these whatsoever.

Gary-a poster on the Inside Track board identified the 70 as Nick Rampling although I remember him running a Valiant at Lancaster in 68 (as a mod). Wonder if this is the car (Belvedere???) he used for Grand National races at Fonda and Islip in 1966 with a 340 in it for local racing? ML
(I remember driving by Nic's Narco Collision on Royal Windsor Drive, then Hwy 122, in extreme east end Oakville in the early 70s and always seeing the remains of a super mod in the rear)
The #34 Mustang is driven by a Mr. Hastie, I believe.
Christian from Montreal has added a few more photos on the Inside Track Forum showing Norm Lelliot's 1967 Beaumont at a race in Quebec. It's either late season or early season as there appears to be no foliage on the trees and the late model has had a lot of its body panels replaced and is unlettered.
It's amazing how far the cars came in about 3 or 4 years re tire technology. Also, Norm's car shows the rear wheel was home made and has some of those reinforcing strips welded on that we saw on a lot classes up to the early 70s.

Thanks for sharing these great picks. Brings back memories of the good old days when I worked in tobacco & got stuck irrigating on a race night & couldn't get to the races. Marsh Manning had a very unique sounding car back in those days. I used to watch the time & had a good idea when the features started. I used to shut everything down & listen & if i heard that purr from Marsh,s car Then the rest of the pack accelerate I new he had the lead. Only way I could find out what was going on. I used to try watching the rest of the races from on top of the hill across the river were I was working by binoculers but the distance was a little to far.

Wow, I was probably at this race but can't remember the names. I would be 3 yrs old then. I'll have to ask the old man. (RJ Truax)  He'll know maybe. 17 is probably Geoff Rennison, a delaware resident back then.
