There are alot of the old challengers that converted back to thunder cars, take the frt load bolts out and mount the shock back in the orignal location, and aslong it still had the 4 link rear end in it.

convert back,,,,,upgrade.......convert to a?........i put this and that on because were aloud to now.........this car is too old lets convert it back to a ?.................this was a good ? lets up grade it to a ?......convert=$$$$$......Upgrade=$$$$$$   Does every one get it !!!!!!!!!teams should go up or down classes this is way cheaper for most......MAKE A SET OF RUES AND LOCK THEM IN look at Flammy 4-bangers............ make 1 or 2 teams spend $$$ moving up a class instead of all in the class and new teams wanting in a class

because thunders is still cost  effective compared to LLM, my family can afford to run a Thunder, we cannot afford a LLM.....I dont wanna race the boring mustang anymore.....

Most dont understand the cost difference in running a thunder compared to a limited late.If you want to run out front in either class, you got to spend money.....bottom line, thats the way it is!!!
Most of the time, the guys whining are the ones who have junk equipment and dont know enough about car set up,or dont work on their stuff.
Ive seen guys overdrive into the corner lap after lap, till they finally overheat the right frt,the car plow`s like a feight train, and cant understand why everyone passes them and they cant run out front. Tongue Shocked Wink

yeappers Larry, I bet we could get a llm on the track and run around at the back for the same money, well not quite, but thats because we didn't have to touch the motor this past year.....

I think ppl think LLM's are a 20,000.00 class when it probably costs twice that to get going, then that to run every year. I know what Cronan told me to get his team up and running and then to run this year, it isn't the kinda money we are interested in spending I can tell you that!

I know you can get in a championship LLM that is older for 15,000 and it needs a 2500.00 body and a motor rebuild to get going....

other than I heard this guy spent this much and those guys spent that  does any of you boys have an idea o fix these problems and still have a class that can be a reasonable amount of cash and still be fast as a V-8  thunder ..............I think a light car with a good tire are key to this.......................anyone???

It's tough, light car, wide tire, lots of safety equipment, about 280 HP, then what? The 9 inch makes things way better, but maybe put in a rule "no aftermarket 9 inches, must come off a vehicle" I am not sure what the answer is.
