when I say LLM tires I mean used one's  .That should take away enough grip so that a 9" is not needed make the rule that only rear for make and model can be used now remember I am not talking about a thunder as we know it today because they are on there way out if you have the time read post #23 thread-sauble rules meeting for an idea of what I think a thunder car should be and pls keep in mind what I suggest is really to take a TC back to its roots as an entry level race car in other words not a street stock because they would in my mind be the first level of an adjustable race car then as a team gets hungry for more speed they can move up to a LLM ............NOT ADD PERFORMANCE PARTS TO THAT CLASS.......like I have said before move a team up not a chassie make up some rules and have them CAST IN STONE

Well after watching and reading this thread for a little while now, I will say this DONT RUN THUNDERS if you think its to pricy for ya!!! Thayne is right, not all of us can afford to run LLM. Also it is the most competitive class to watch right now and be a part of! No offence to the LLM guys/gals but I would rather watch paint dry then watch a LLM race.

when is the last time you ran a race with a full field on a saturday night at sauble?? why do you think that is Huh at what level will you run out of thunder cash ?? after this years changes?? or do you think it will take 2or 3 more years of rule upgrades to tap out ?? did you know that what you are calling a LLM is nothing more than a name change from challenger about 5 years ago Huh

we get 20 at barrie, 25+ at sunset and at the sunset invis upwards of 40...seems like the issue with thunders is a Sauble-only problem?

Here is 2 different nights of results, thunder/old llm at the famed mosport oval.

So,its very clear that Mosport holds the record of the least cars, its a real shame!!
One of my sponsor's called, and asked if i wanted to run Thunders at Peterboro, because someone is trying to get enough cars together, and the track will bring thunders back there. If this happens, iam sure Mosport's class will fold completly, again a real shame...
