STOLEN RACE TRAILER - PARTS AND EQUIPMENT NOVEMBER 28TH, 2009
Nascar Canadian Tire Series and Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Equipment

To everyone,
Last night we had a 2008 Excursion Enclosed Race Trailer stolen from our shop in Ancaster Ontario.
The Trailer is White in color with lettering on the trailer, Texon Tool Supply, Lucas Oil, Benson Auto Parts
#24 Brennan Didero, Seals-it, Grisdale Racing Products and Mid America Motor Sports.

The Trailer is a Tandem Trailer with Aluminum Wheels and a Spare Tire on the Nose with a Black Tire Cover.

Plate Number F5400K Ontario Plates

The Trailer is full of our Race Parts and I mean FULL !!

If you see the Trailer please call Police right away.
If you see the guys who took it- Kick there %$&^*#$ ass big time before calling Police.
If you are approached over the next few weeks from anyone selling NEW or Used Race Parts please notify me so we
can see if it is on our list.
We are talking thousands upon thousands of dollars here which could easily put us out of Racing for good.

If you have access to Racing Web Sites, please have them post this message ASAP !!
Your help is very much appreciated.

Thank you,
David A. Didero

OK I still don't understand why people don't have tracking GPS systems on there equipment?

I have a friend that owns a business and all his equipment has GPS tracking on it. If recall it is about 500.00 each and you can track this live on your computer. He has already recovered a 50,000 piece of equipment. All he did is go to the address where it was and called the police and the equipment was recovered and this was done all in the same night that the equipment was stolen. He tracked it while it was still moving. The funny thing is the guy that took my friends equipement tried to lie to the police and say he didn't have it but the tracking told a different story.

If anyone likes I can get the name of the GPS tracker he uses. Well worth the investment.

You have to be careful with some of the GPS tracking units. Not that they don't work just that some are not approved for use in Canada yet by Industry Canada. I was going to get one for my hound dog on the net ($300 US) until I read the fine print. Only approved for the Continental United States as IC has not yet approved. The approval is defaulted after five years of use in the states. One of those rules that you can't explain I guess but it has something to do with the frequencies used. I'm sure Evan's guy has the approved stuff. Just saying be careful what you buy.

I will give him a shout tomorrow.

These are widely used in construction as most of the machinery uses the same key to start the machines.

This would be a good item the tracker on display at the up and coming  CPT
show in London I think there would be lots of interest shown.

I'd be interested in buying something like that for the car trailer.
