I'll think on that a little. At Delaware that stuff doesn't seem to go on very long....which is probably a good thing.  But rivalries for sure don't have to involve a lot of bent metal. I personally get a little excited whenever Robblee and Sheridan are up there running 1-2.

Indeed it was. Hope there's more of that this year.

lol...we'd probably clear the pits. If it ever happens. Make sure you turn in your transponders before the show so you can beat a hasty exit.  Wink

One of the best rivalries of all time at Delaware in the early 90s
Jim Patrick and Doug Stewart
They wrecked each other every week for what seemed to be half a season
That was hilarious mainly because of the sheer stupididy of it would have hated to have been the one paying the bills on that deal

I remember a season where that happened a lot between Lindsay and DJ too, but Lindsay tended to get into a lot of guys back then. Throw Paul Mathers into the mix and you had some pretty rough and tumble racing.

Guys complain that LM has gotten out of control, but I don't buy it. Those CASCAR days in the early 90's were way worse.

That may be a little generous.   Grin Grin

I'm gonna use this to start rumors.

I hear the biggest one will be in the SS class either.
77 & 3 --> look for lots of bent up sheet metal and pit fights on that one

or the

76 & 11 --> we all know there'll be no love lost there, expect time out's and forced weeks off for one or both teams
