CORR has stated that the last race of the year has been cancelled due to economics, i sure hope this is not seen in other series. the one good thing i can forsee wrt to the recession is that people will keep their dollars closer to home it may help local Saturday nite racing.maybe?

I can see a Sat. night race becoming more of a destiniation for people who used to go to alot of farther away racing...I saw this on SPEED's website but am having trouble figuring out why they could not run it? It was going to be live on TV and they have great car counts....even if they break even it is like a good faith race to leap towards next season....makes no sense to me.

This is the 2nd stright event they have cancelled, it was said one of the reasons they cancelled there last event...was to make sure the final event could be the "biggist,baddist..CORR Event Ever" or something along thoese lines....so much for that.

CORR's in deep trouble then.....the series to me has taken leaps and bounds these last couple of years...lots of sponsers...LIVE TV coverage on NBC...ect.

but this I think has just taken the series a big jump back...and honstly, I wound't be suprised if CORR is no more come 2009
