*For immediate release*

Craig Lowndes’ no. 888 Holden Commodore will swap its traditional Autobarn colours for a National Storage livery at the Auckland SuperSprint in November, with the official unveiling to be hosted by Lowndes, live on the Autobarn Lowndes Racing Facebook page.

The storage powerhouse will extend its partnership with the 2018 Bathurst-winning squad for the only New Zealand event on the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship calendar.

National Storage will overhaul several elements of the team’s racing fit out, bringing to life a new look at the New Zealand event.

“We’re very pleased to welcome National Storage on board as the major partner on car 888 for the Auckland SuperSprint. Since joining Triple Eight in July this year, they’ve been extremely supportive of what we do and have shown a great deal of enthusiasm for the sport,” said Triple Eight Race Engineering’s Managing Director Roland Dane.

“Alongside their support with an offsite storage facility, National Storage sponsor the two Red Bull Holden Racing Team cars and have activated a number of strong fan engagement activities this year, including several race experiences up for grabs at the Auckland, Gold Coast and Newcastle events.”

“We’ve really enjoyed working with the Triple Eight racing team, from both a storage perspective and via our fan engagement initiatives,” said National Storage Managing Director Andrew Catsoulis.

“We have a strong focus on growing the business in both Australia and particularly in New Zealand, so we jumped at the opportunity to be major partner at the upcoming Auckland SuperSprint. The new livery and racing suit look fantastic and we think it’s going to make a huge splash on the circuit.”

Craig Lowndes will officially unveil the new look livery live on the Autobarn Lowndes Racing Facebook page from 4pm (AEST) on Thursday 25th October 2018.

Alongside the livery unveiling, National Storage are offering fans the opportunity to showcase their design skills and create their very own National Storage livery for car 888 by entering their design on Instagram with #NSLockerRoom. The winner will be selected by Craig Lowndes during the Facebook live event, with the winner taking home Lowndes’ race suit from the Auckland SuperSprint.
