Great Driver Looking for a Ride
« on: February 27, 2008, 01:29:24 PM »
Hello everyone.  Well there is One driver out there who is looking for a Ride.  One of the nicest guys I know  Who is a good spokes person, father, mechanic, and knows how to drive a Race Car. Skeeter has driven some not bad Equipment and some Crappy stuff, but always made it work and won a lot of races and set track records. Last year he proved he's still got it by running second at Cayuga. He might have won that Sportsman race, but somebody  M R  thought he would use our car as a brake peddle and put us in the wall. I know he still has it in him. So I think somebody should give him a chance with a RIDE In NCTS or OSS ETC...

Ok  Ready  It Is  Steve Skeeter Betteridge

Thanks  Call 519- 679 6031 Kevin or 519 652 2677 Skeeter

Well we don't need to go down that road do we young gun.  Back Bumper to front bumper?  I think it was obvious.  That's the trouble with some young gun's they need to be patience, not in a hurry all the time, and a head on their shoulders. If you have it take it in a good way not be impatient and wreck somebody, Cayuga is a big track, you can go around. Oh I figured that M R was enough people will get the meaning. You are a good racer Matt Just be Patient

Yes your correct you don't need go down that road, this is a job classifieds board.

I think if I saw a resume of a driver and he put what you did, I could have maybe of won that race if it wasn't for some guy wrecking us. I wouldn't hire the driver.

Part of racing is getting caught up in a wreck maybe in a after race interview that would be OK but trying to find a ride doesn't look good on your part as this would tell me he likes to make excuses. Also pointing out that you had some not so bad and crappy equipment seems like another excuse.

Sorry to point this out but I would be looking to a guy that has results not excuses why he hasn't done that well in the rides he has had. I know many would like to get a ride and could careless what equipment they had. It would be called seat time.

Don't get me wrong I'm not siding here as I have no clue what happened on the track and it really doesn't matter.

Well we don't need to go down that road do we young gun.

Well I guess you don't know him at all.  Skeeter has a lot of wins and track records. He came back after a while from being out of a car and was doing well. Believe me there are no Excuses to be made He has raced with very good results, and has been around. I'm not a good resume guy  I'm just a friend lol

I don't know him but don't you think someone looking for a driver would want to know about these wins and track records? You just pointed out negative things. a wreck and crappy equipment.

Just trying to help.

yea, that's not the way to go about looking for a ride...number one it is best to have an agreement in principal on a sponsor...then you go hunting....a sponsor ALWAYS helps big time. And sayign that you did bad in crapy equipment doesn't show the personality that I as a car owner would be looking for...

I'm just a friend who likes to see him race. and the car he drove at Cayuga was a older but good car  That he made work very well

I for one can vouch for Skeeter. been a fan for a long time and watched him in both the good equipment and the crappy equipment. You can guarantee that you'll be visible if your company's on the side of his car. They used to call Jimmy Spencer "Mr Excitement"...but I think that the title suits Mr Betteridge just fine too.
