VINCENT TAKES THRILLING VICTORY IN CARQUEST 100

(Moncton, NB. August 27, 2011) - Kent Vincent (Crapaud, PE), in the #8
Vector Aerospace Dodge Charger took the checkered flag on Saturday night to
capture the CARQUEST 100 at Petty International Raceway. The win was the
first for Vincent on the season, who passed Wayne Smith (Timberlea, NS) to
take the lead for the final time on lap 90. Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) held
off a hard charging Donald Chisholm (Antigonish, NS) for the second place
spot with former champion John Flemming (Halifax, NS) and Marty Prevost
(Fall River, NS) coming home in fourth and fifth respectively.

A full crowd packed the grandstands of Petty International Raceway to take
in the CARQUEST 100, which saw eight caution periods and took just over one
hour to complete. The Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials set the tone for the
evenings festivities and it was Shawn Turple (Enfield) pacing the field with
a blistering time of 13.707 seconds around the 1/4-mile, high banked oval.
Smith piloted his #44 Jetco Contracting Impala to the win in the Fast Eddie
Racewear Dash for Cash. Dartmouth Dodge Heat Races set the balance of the
field for the CARQUEST 100 and they were won by Prevost and Brad Mann (Glen
Livet). Smith also brought home the King Freight Lines Halfway and Linde
Most Laps Led Awards while Jerome Kehoe (Sydney, NS) picked up the most
positions in the feature and will be awarded with the Vortex Brakes Hard
Charger Award.

Smith entered the evening with a one point lead but will leave Petty
International Raceway unofficially with a 13 point advantage over Shawn
Tucker (Fredericton) who finished 11th, one position behind Smith. Darren
MacKinnon (Charlottetown, PE) had rear end issues with his #18 Shaw's Towing
Chevrolet, which will drop the Island driver to fifth in points, behind
Flemming and Vincent. The top five will unofficially be separated by 32
points heading into the Dartmouth Dodge 200.

The next event for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is the Season Finale,
Dartmouth Dodge 200, which will take place on Saturday, September 10th at
