Your Banned. Just joking.

Why would you get banned for saying how you feel about an event or track? I think the tracks that read stuff should learn from this and if changes need to be made they should make them. Racing is not doing well these days they better start listening to the customers.

Other then some race tracks is there any other venue that allows you to bring in a cooler and food? Bud Gardens, Air Canada centre, Rock the park,  etc no way. And they all kill you for food and beverage. Not defending but just saying! And tickets are not cheap either at these places. Movie theaters? Not a chance. Just comparing.

This is my perspective from the pits on sat .   let me start by saying my family has raced at Delaware Speedway since the late fifties , dad , brother, son and cousins. Every year we hope as fans or racers that things are getting better. As of yesterday in my opinion it's gotten worse. The management doesn't seem to be fan or racer friendly actually I think they become greedy. It costs me $35 to get in the pits almost $20 for 1 poutine and 2 pop. They decided to do 2 day event that could have being done on regular Friday night Show. I was talking to a good friend who told me it cost him over $200 to race Friday night for fuel , gate admittance , transponder rental ect. just to run ten lap qualifying Heat race. really? Then had to pay even more the next day again really? Plus they charge $30 for transponder and holder that have paid for themselves numerous times over and won't let you buy your own that's another gouge. I know the weather had something to do with the crowd numbers but I suspect cost had a lot to do with it as well I don't know what the gate price was on top of the hill but obviously too much to see 14 late models. And why would you run a Invitational on a Saturday when every other track in Ontario races the same day? I don't know if Delaware is just desperate for money trying to keep the place going but gouging every little penny they can get out of fans and racers isn't going to work. Rant over. PS if we didn't have to go there twice with the Vintage mod I would never walk through the gate again until they get their s*** together

September 16-17 the Great Canadian Race Weekend is going to go head to head with the Night before the Nationals and Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Ohsweken. Friday, the night before the Nationals, 40-50 sprints cars, 2 A mains, winners get guaranteed transfers to Nationals A main on Saturday night. Saturday, Canadian Sprint Car Nationals, MINIMUM 60 sprint cars, $12000 US to win and last place in the A main paid $850 US last year... Sorry Delaware.
