hey.... if you bought a car that my name was on it....and chose to run it and not change the logo..and run a full year... and too cheap to change the car..... you didn't do me any favours.... and by the way.... asking people to sponsor a car...is not having your hand out for money... its advertisement for that company and a helping hand for you.... and please remove my decals.....

I thought that is why tracks like sauble tried to run a "street stock" &  thunder car division, varney tried with street stock and super street stock but now 3 of those division are gone, i do pretty well in my car seeing it was built in 2000, so u dont always have to have an up to date piece, all of the changes that happened at saturdays meeting were not argued by anyone so i guess the people that were there were all happy with the rules. Truth is Ross that there isnt a rule book in the world that will make everyone happy no matter what sport it is, one person will have an opinion about everything

"There ain't nothing stock about a stock car" - Robert Duval - Days of thunder     Best Quote I Have Ever Heard About RACING      and that was 22 years ago, That is the way it is from the Cup level all the way down to your Saturday night racer, There is no turning back the clock and unlearning years of knowledge people have acquired by racing for several decades. There was a time i had 4 wrecking yards with in 20 mins. from my shop, they have all been closed for at least  10 years now, my days of scrounging around a scrap yard for parts are long over. The last stock part on my car is the engine block. And be F****D if i'm gonna work on some rusted out piece of S**t ever again! BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!!!

yetti69.... YOU ARE A F'N FOOL.....  thats all i gotta say... you should know what your talking about before you go trashing people.....

Lets look at what we are talking about for your benefit.

You made the statement that if you can't afford to race, you should stay home. Lets look at that from your perspective... As you claim sponsorship, your sponsorship, is what drivers need to fund racing, isn't making classes cost more going to drive your costs of sponsorship up? Didn't think of that did you?

Second, you claim that sponsorship is more than just a handout, there is a return to the business from it. Yet then you claim that your name on a car "doesn't do you any favors"... Truth is you have no clue, do you, or you wouldn't be making two statements on the opposite end of the spectrum.

So who is the fool again?

no ..stupid... you don't need sponsorship to race....it is what HELPS you race.........it is NOT A HANDOUT..... and DOES NOT  DO YOU ANY FAVORS!!!!!!! Yes..there are "returns" ...but not in the demented way you are thinking...... put your stupid ass in a car..and become a driver...and see what you can get...but don't trash people that want to put time and effort into a car.... and get some kind of return no matter how... stop being a dumb ass.... YOU are the one that HAS NO CLUE !!!!!!! grow up !!!! either become a sponsor ...or a real driver of a car... and stop being a whiner.... and quoting shit you have no clue about...drop down to a "junk yard dog" if you can't afford to RACE..... LOL  :) racing is racing ...and its always going to be about who finishes first... not second...sorry you can't handle it !!! :)  keep quoting me... i'll beat your ass !!!!!!

Opinions are aloud but name calling is not.

Name calling is not welcome on the site and the topic is closed. If this continues I will issue warnings.
