Has anyone heard who or how many cars they can expect to see this Sunday at the Summer Sizzler?  I have enjoyed the last two years of this particular race and hope that the car count and the racing is just as good as it has been.

Yah, its the car he ran at Sanair in the ACT $10000 to win event. It was a brand new, ACT legal, fast car.

From the sounds of things on one of the other messsages on this board, there could be upwards of 42 cars trying to qualify this coming Sunday.  That is a huge amount of cars.  Certainly will be great racing.

Anyone heard the cost to get in and if they are offering the family rate once again this weekend?

Just checked the Kawartha website and no mention of the cost for the Sizzler but if its the normal rate it will be $14.00 per adult.  And the family rate I think is $30.00 if they are offering.

Would Derek Lynch run the same 15 car that he had at Capital city tonight? Just took a picture of them doing repairs before loading it up. Got into a wreck in the 50 lapper.

I don't think Derek will be running on Sunday, since he is Kawarthas track promoter.

I'm anxious to see if Robblee and McGrath with their Kenyon car will succeed to fight with Jeff Henley and perhaps beat him. Also to see if Dan Mchattie wil be part of the fight. Geart race to follow.

Some great racing at Kawartha today but I was expecting more Late Models. Jeff Hanley certainly had to work for first overall and is still the "King of Kawartha" beating Kirk Hooker by a single point ( three 2nd place finishes for Hanley and a 1st and two 3rd's for Hooker).

Surprised to see Tom Walters driving Shawn McWhirter's car.  Too bad Kyle Donaldson was not able to continue after contact in the first segment as he looked strong.

Robbie Thompson put on perhaps the show of the day by coming from the back in the first segment to win after he and Kirk Hooker got together early on. Hooker also had a great drive in the first segment back up to 3rd.

Note for Derek (Racepulse): the correct driver's name of #15 is Joey Laquerre, an ACT veteran from Vermont.
