Saskatoon, SK – Auto Clearing Motor Speedway is excited to announce the impressive line up of special stock car and Super Truck racing for 2008.
Andy Clewes, President, and Richard Woodvine, Director, with the Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association have expressed that this is the most aggressive and impressive race schedule in the 50 plus years of history with the club.
The schedule will include a total of 22 race events, starting on May 11, 2008 with the Mother’s Day event (free admission to all Mothers) and continuing through to October 5, 2008.
Special events will include the season opener and the points final race for Western Canada’s Super Late Model Challenge (formerly NEWALTA).
Six appearances of the Siemens WEST – (Western Elite StockCar Tour) (former CASCAR Western Series).
Four Super Truck races with the points winner going to Martinsville, Virginia in October 2008, for the Craftsman NASCAR Truck Race.
Two Legends races including the Mac’s Froster 50 and the Dorito’s 50.
One Prairie Thunder race for all the top drivers in the IMCA Modified.
One Street Stock event – The Martensville 100. The winner will receive a trip to Martinsville, Virgina to the NASCAR Subway 500.
It plans to be a very exciting season for race fans in Saskatchewan and Western Canada.
