well, if 23 of baker would let off gas when he hits wall instead of staying on gas and causing mayhem then this wreck would not of happened. i guess since he drives car for some one else and he is not paying for repairs then he can drive like an idiot. if some one else drove like that and wrecked him, you would never hear the end of it.

Not sure about that Don. It all started on the front straightaway. Baker's fender / wheel was exposed and I think it got caught up in Mike's RF wheel, then rub rail and then the LR wheel. All three cars got in a sandwich...Once that happened, Mike's car then went left and up and over Baker's and away they all went to towards the ambulance...

Everything looked tight just before the start / finish line... and then it all went bad. As you know, the straightaway starts to get visually narrower at that point.

well doug, when he states himself that when he hit wall then bounced off and stays in gas and at that point he does not care who he hits then i think what i said has merit. he also done it earlier in race and we got a flat, had to go to the back while he restarts in sixth. i know it was last lap of race but you can not finish hooked up to a wrecker.

Not too sure on how they scored the llm race but cant see how 66 and 54 scored so high as they were in the wreck before the final lap when the caution came out.  54 Bull didnt even take the green flag for the restart as you can see him in the pits on the video with a white car ahead of him.  Help me fiqure this all out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bull was even in and out of the pits a few times

He also knocked me out of the race when something happened to sheppards car and him and parker got into each other. I was behind them and lifted a bit coming off of 4 on the high side. Baker was on the inside and TONNED me. he hooked me and threw me into the wall. It happened so fast, there was no time to react. If he was more heads up, that to would have never happened. Thats why his fender was up and his wheel was exposed. Being an involved car at that point of the race, he should've gone to the back and then that last lap wreck would have never happened. Like you asked, How do they score there? Seems to me there was a lot of cars that were not in the proper position. Even at the start. They had long cautions to screw everything up. The race could have been a whole lot different. Just my opinion.

I agree I think they should be at least five spots back as they were scored.  And on the restarts I have no idea as to how they placed the cars as I know I wasnt placed properly.  I think they should look at there scoring and go back and look at the video and realize they didnt even take the green on the restart as you can see them in the pits .  Would it be safe to say five spots equals $50 lol not the money just the principal.  If fifty bucks meant alot i wouldnt be in this profitable sport.  LOL

Every time I get all whiny about not being at Autumn Colours with my car, the spectacular wrecks remind me that its a pretty good idea to leave the car at home and just watch. Either that or get a junk car and run that instead :)

Yeah, I know, "got all winter to fix it" etc. Still perhaps a disposable car is a better option :) Yet as each season nears the end, the itch to be in craziest and most anticipated event of the year grinds the brain into pulp...

As it is, it's gonna be painful waiting all winter to get back on the track after an extended absents. The Sprint Cup is rather boring (Johnson is practically a lock to win his 5th in a row) and I'd rather go to Speedweeks.

For those interested, I'm also heading to Mooresville in Feb to pick up some parts and taking the trailer with me. PM me if any of you are interested in going down with me and picking up a few things....

I don't think it matters how much time anybody has to fix a car from something that could've been avoided in the first place. I'de rather work on my car to make sure everything is right over the winter to start next year strong. Not reclipping it or having to put more money into a bunch of bent up parts. Racing deals happen but if everybody was a little more heads up and try not to over drive there cars, we would have better racing from our seats and a lot more respect for one another. Lets face it, your not going to hit it everytime. We were awsome in qualifying but not so good for the main. I was just trying to survive and maybe get a top 10. Didn't happen.

Well I certainly will be busy this winter. I'm looking at about $10,000 or more to put the # 4 car back on the track. Any sponsors out there ? lol

Just some advise for the 4 car.  Rather than spend 10k on that chassis go get a new mccall chassis for 4k and bolt on all of your stuff on it.  You already have the power train and rear axles seat and stuff rather than reclipping and stuff.  Just a thought I may be having to do that myself. LOL  Again just something to think about.

if you have stuff for sale please post the ads for cars, parts and want ads at the new free classifieds. It's a great place to advertise as it is getting a ton of traffic from here and the search engines.

Hey bigdog just wondering why you would part out wouldnt it be cheaper to keep parts for new chassis unless you want to have brand new car and parts but for piece of mind having new car would be nice but more expensive.
