Man, they are going to need a little more hp in that thing. It looked like it was down 100hp on the restarts, he would lose 10-15 car lengths before they even hit the corner.

More seat time, on a difficult track though.

How could he possibly get a decent ride by sitting at home?  He's trying to get his name out there.  I believe his best chance of getting noticed is by doing his best with what he's got.

How could you get a decent ride when week after week you are 6 to 8 laps of the pace, on big tracks,  all you do is hurt your chances not improve them, all the money thats been wasted would have been better spent leasing a car from a winning team and showing the world that Kenninton is capable of running top 20 with the big boys. The only thing you learn 5 laps down is how to stay out of the way, that is really helpful !! and seat time in poor equiptment just drives sponsors away and loses you the once or twice in a life-time shot at getting picked up by a good team.

For clarification purposes he finished 3 laps down and based on starting and finish position he had the 3rd highest spots gained behind J. Keller and M. Wallace.  Based on the funding the team is receiving compared to the full time rides I'd say they are demonstrating they can take average equipment and get them to the finish line without tearing up the vehicle.  Yes they are not running at the front but maybe with the money they are not spending on repairing the vehicle each race will allow them to upgrade so that they become more competitive.  Start with baby steps and then start moving up from there.

Another tough track for DJ this weekend in Loudon, not to mention about 18 cup regulars.
Does anyone know if DJ has ever raced at Loudon in anything? Just curious.

Elbows up and go get 'em DJ!!

Looks like Randy is doing the start and park thing again too. I think that's what he's been doing anyway, he doesn't seem to run any more than 20-30 laps.
