so when did this info come out that you had to run 50% of the races?  i haven't run yet this season , as i'm updating my car, but i did plan on racing a few of these races . now  they're telling me i can't?  i'm a on  low budget just like what don has mentioned here , can't race every weekend and i wanted to do a few bigger races so only if your pouring money into these tracks week after week will you be able to race. that sounds one sided to me .  no wonder i keep looking to race down in the u.s . less b.s.

guys, this isnt an invitational, it is a private meet by the sounds of it...I don't really care because evidently I am a part of this group, but I would be a little irked if I weren't...as far as rules packages having to match I am all for it...if you want to race us, race with our rules....but the 50% rule is kind of weak....as long as you are registered at one of these tracks you should be allowed to run.

What sucks about this format is that if you are a driver from either delaware, varney or flamboro - you have to change your car to fit the rules of another track. To me that seems a little unfair. When you go to most invitationals, according to where you are from, you usually just have to change weight and all that sort of stuff - but to change a car from say varney rules to the rules to barrie - it's going to be a hassle and a big disadvatage to make such a big change to your car.

I love the idea of this series and I do believe that it is going to be a success and we'll see lots of very good racing.
But... is it being fair and inclusive for every track...?? my opinion is no.

I believe all promoters were invited to get in on this series and the choice was theirs.

Fair and inclusive for four tracks is better than none.

Let's not do the 24 cars on varney track bs again. If they weren't included. That may be why.

these are the tracks that got together and said lets make the same rules or close there to so they can do stuff like this. I think its great and would be assume to have all the tracks have the same rules so u can have traveling series like this.

We were thinking about putting a car together for this series. However we intended on running just the series and not many regular events at any of the tracks. So if this rule is going to be in effect that eliminates that option. Why would this 50% attendance be in place anyway if this is a travelling series. If your car is legal at any of the tracks you should be able to run. If they want to reward those who compete regularly at one given track, guarantee the top ten in points at the hosting track starting spots.

I have the opposite problem that Don has. I didn't want to run this series this year. Maybe next year. But, we found out last week that if you don't show up, you get zero points for the regular season. Everyone that shows up gets the same amount of points. It also doesn't seem fair to the Thunders. They have to run 3 nights in a row next weekend. Friday - Sauble, Saturday at their home track, and Sunday at Pete. Guess I'll be at Pete on Sunday

Barrie is the only track not giving their thunders a night off.  Sunset is off,  Peterborough just doesnt have thunders, Sauble is off,  and Kawartha is obv. off.
