Kawartha Results-July-25th
« on: July 25, 2008, 11:39:32 PM »
bout time it didn't rain! lol.

17 LLM showed up for the 100 lapper.

Race was won by Walters... with Parsons 2nd  & Jason Parker 3rd, not sure who this Parker guy was but he did a great job and lead the race for a wile.

Race was really competitive untill the last little bit where Walters started to pull away..although it looked like in the closing laps Parsons started to close the gap a bit.

LM was won by Larry Jackson...he got the lead early and nobody could catch him.

only one little dust up...when the 07 dive-bombed turn 1 and got into a 4 wheel slide...and a few cars had to take some advasive action...

MS was won by Glen Dee...been a wile since Glen has taken a checkered at KD so was nice to see him back in victory lane.

TC was won by Reyns...race was pretty competitive....and apparently racing doesnt run in the Remington's blood...beacuse Jeff once again continues to cause wrecks..by eaither spinning himself or wrecking other people....he spun 1 car early in the feature..then right near the end, I don't really blame him totally for this one.. a couple guys got together off turn 4..comming to the checkers and he dived under them, and I cound't really see what happend beacuse of the green box thing that blocks your view from turn-2..but next thing I see is Jeff spinning...and another car tagging the wall hard.

It was another great night at KD, good size crowd as well tonight..... it's to bad there having an off-week next week.. :(

Parker races LLM at Sauble. After he changed motors, he ran third for a bunch of the 150 lap LM special this year.

15 LM's

Not sure where Lic Brown was, Thring was missing as well...

81 finished..I wanna say about 5th-6th or so.

It was 84,9,71,10?

and 81 & 60 came acrosse the line side by side....not sure who got it.

Is it just me..or is Mercer a bit off the pace this year?  seemed like last year he had a shot at some wins, but not to be this year.

Slapdown 81 finished 5th for sure in the feature, 4th in his heat ( had morgan, kimmerly, powell, smith and watson in his group along with fernandez and the 07 car).  In the semi feature he finished I beleive 8th, car definitely looked under power in the semi as he lost like 3 spots in the closing laps.  When the feature started he managed to get the car out front for 2 laps, as he avoided the maylea in corner 1.  The incident actually started coming out of corner 4 with the 07 car getting squirrely and then in corner 1 Mchattie, Kimble and 07 went for spins uptowards the top of the wall.  Mchattie got the worst of it so he went and pitted and was back out for the full feature.  All in all the car looked better then the past couple of weeks handling wise but definitely still not the pull down the straightaway compared to last year.

btw who was that spotting for Bryan tonight?

Jason Parker runs a LLM at Sauble and is a top runner there. Good job.

Nor does fixing them. You missed that he had a weekly axel failure in practice, Not rocket science that the houseing is bent and doing the same repair over and over nets the same result... We are all looking forward to whos going to get killed by it...

Personally I'm a huge fan. I let him by me whenever I get the chance. So when he spins, crashed or whatever, I get his position plus the positions from the number of cars he takes out..
