"Thursday Night Thunder" returns to the 1/3 mile asphalt oval this coming Thursday, August 23rd when the green flag drops on another action-packed night at Laird International Raceway.
LIR encourages fans to take advantage of this week's special where a Family of 5 (Two adults and up to 3 children 11 & Under) will be admitted for just $20! You can't beat that for affordable entertainment.
The track encourages everyone to show up early as immediately following qualifying Bus Rides for the kids will take place around the 1/3 mile and through the pits until race time.
(No beat the clock specials on grandstand admission or concession items will be applicable on this night).
On the track, all six divisions of your local weekly racing divisions will take part in the show featuring the Twisted Toyz Motorsports Super Late Models, Caswell Concrete Products Outlaw Modifieds, LIR Modifieds, Maitland Motors Factory Stocks, KM Construction Xtreme Fours and Leisure Living Factory Fours PLUS School Bus Racing will conclude the evening. If you missed the first school bus race of the year, be sure you aren't left out this time around.
Time trials being at 6 p.m. with racing to follow at 7 p.m.
LIR will adhere to their strict intermission policy that has seen intermission average 25 minutes or less this summer.
