Who goes into the CRO Hall of Fame?
« on: May 25, 2010, 09:17:00 PM »
We haven't done this in awhile but who should be recognized this year?

If we could compile a list of names they we could put them up for a poll & the top 3 are put the CRO hall of Fame?

How we could do it is compile a post with some photos and a little bit about there career and then lock the post.

Let me know.

Thanks

Will you be including Americans for example at one time when Delaware was first paved at 1/2 mile the open wheel supermodifieds ran there on a weekly basis under Jack Greedy a well known name. Who have already been named before are they excluded ?

Good question. I think it would be Canadain Drivers as I don't think we are doing by tracks but the drivers.

My first inductee would have to be "Happy" Jack Cook.. The only man to my knowledge to win 3 track championships in the same season ( C.N.E, Wasaga, and South Shore)..Why he's not in the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame yet remains a incredible mystery??? ???

Well STATSMAN would really be the one to ask for that.. But I can add that Jack won the first ever CASCAR races at both Barrie and Sunset ( then called the No 7 Lights/ Craven A series). I think if you go to the Sunset Hall of Fame section on here you'll find a picture of Jack leading that race.. Ironically enough that race at Sunset took 2 weekends to complete due to a massive flood in the pits.. There also might be other pics of Jack on the Barrie Hall of Fame section on here but not sure..
