2018 Lucas Oil Raceway Fall Brawl Full of Big Changes and Exciting Racing…and More!

Dave Duncan Joins CRA Team for Important Indy Event and Will Honor Legendary Indy Area Racing Supporters

Salem, Indiana (September 21, 2018): The 2018 version of CRA’s Fall Brawl at Lucas Oil Raceway is seeing exciting changes, as fans and racers prepare for the event which is just over a week out.  Traditionally, the event has seen practice on Saturday and racing on Sunday.  This year there will be racing for the Midwest Super Modifieds on Saturday night.  It’s the first time in almost two decades that these lightning fast vehicles will take to the legendary oval outside of Indianapolis.

Besides the Super Modifieds, Saturday will also feature racing from the Vore’s Compact Touring Series and the Vintage Sprint Cars.  All of that racing is just the tip of the iceberg.  Saturday will also see a Vendor midway featuring flea market vendors and a swap meet, with racing vendors expected in attendance.  The event will also host a car show with top prize of $1000 going to the winner and everyone in the top five cashing.

Inside the race track, fans will also be treated to a motorcycle stunt show, and finish the night off with Fireworks.  All of these exciting changes to the weekend can be attributed to the new event promoter, Dave Duncan.

During Saturday’s activities, Duncan will also recognize some important people to Motorsports throughout the Midwest and around the country.  The Indianapolis area motorsports leaders that will be honored with awards of recognition: Legendary Figure 8 Racer and special event promoter Kenny St. John, Legendary Dirt Late Model Racer and chassis builder C.
