Post by: chassisdynamic on June 03, 2011, 08:53:33 AM
Bravo Tim for your second place in the points at the opener. Its a good strating since you beat ken Baird. For me its to follow because i'm the designer of both cars.

Tim I believe won this weeks feature!  his car sounded mean and looked hooked up!

Baird has struggled this year so far. last week he didnt finish the feature and this past week his rear end looked like it was moving around on him....

according to web site Munro won both heats and the feature. I assume Sean Kennedy sold the car as he did not run. I see the hauler still at his place though. I assume Mcpherson has something against running at CCS

Munro won opening night races. Kirby won 2nd night feature.  Site hasn't been completely updated yet from week 2.

It would be nice if they would go back to posting the full heat and feature results like they used to do. Some of us are interested in more than the feature winners.

Has anyone seen any local media coverage for the speedway this year? The past couple of years there has been a pre-season piece in the Ottawa Sun. I didn't see one this year but I could have missed it. On the whole, the Ottawa media really sucks when it comes to coverage of Capital City. It has for a long time. I don't know what, if anything, the track can do to improve things.
