Didero cleans house at Oswego
« on: July 22, 2007, 07:23:23 AM »
I was already to give a race report from Oswego last night but it would seem that besides having the fastest cars anywhere they have a fast web master and they do a far better job of race reporting then I can .

   http://www.oswegospeedway.com/

I will add the weather was great the show ran off in decent time {just after 11} and they had a big crowd if you haven't been down there in a while you are missing the best show within easy driving distance of southern Ontario.

That would be true if they would make truck drivers immigrating to this country drive under a DZ licence for 5 years before they let them block the 400 series highways with 300,000 lb tractor trailers.

Hey Pinecrest- I have not talked to Doug yet as he is in travel back to NC, but I am glad to here he kicked butt. Doug is a really great shoe in the Supers and when he is on his game- untouchable.

Again, Congrates Cousin !!

Since if you are going to go to Oshwegen , Merrtiville , Humberstone etc from the GTA you have to run the 400 series highways and that bad for trucks section Toronto to Hamilton I don't see much difference . I don't think any trucks running Ontario weigh 300,000 lbs more like 144,000 but I get your point . When you get to the NYST the trucks are only 80.000 but I am not going to be deterred by a Pakistani in a Peterbuilt or the equally dangerous Yankee in a U-haul to feed my racing Jone's.

Back to last nights racing Didero was the class of the field and except when Gosek put the nerf to him and held him up for a couple of laps made easy work of getting to the front and running away with it . Furlong was the only other car that was even close to running with him and as the race went on what ever set up he had looked like Didero got faster and faster. It seems that many people have gone to the soft springs big bar set up in stock cars that is fast for the first 10 laps but fades quickly and even though I don't know what set up Didero was using ,  one that gets quicker as you run like he had last night is the way to go IMO..
