OK I watched the video 3:43-Crash the 77 got black flagged? it looked like he tried to pull out from behind the 70 but he was too close to him and hit the 70. Really hard to say if he meant to dump him the only one that knows is the 77.

All I have to say is the guy running in front of the 77 lucky he didn't get hit by the car. That is not a safe move I know he was pissed.

You want to fight wait till the guy gets out of the car.

Just my 2 cents

"I lost control plain and simple running in second,  I have no excuse.  But I made sure to swing it into the wall rather then come across the track and cause another 15 car pileup for everyone."

Well done.  quick thinking, Im sure the other drivers must appreciate that

And lets leave it at that. This was a great event and yes there were some wrecks and some othere issue but all in all from what I heard it was the place to be this weekend.

47 vs 22   In my opinion it is short track racing you are going to have the situation where you may bump and run and that it what walters received and has done on numerous times to get his win.  In this case it was done to him and didnt like it.  Well rather than dumping mitchell he should have just done the same racing manuver he has done over his racing career and done it to mitchell to get his win or except the second place he would have gotten if he couldnt catch the 22 in time.  Black flag for the 47 and restart the 22 in his original position.  Bump and run has been there for years but bump and run and wreck the guy on the next turn or intentionally spin him out NO WAY.  This is my opinion

22racing...........yes, he came to your pit.....but your comments and the comments of your crew after he left your pits is what truly pissed me off.  Had there not been an elderly gentleman standing in front of me....I would have had something for you!!  Next time....remember that there are other ppl around and keep your derogitory comments until you are inside your trailer.....because next time there might not be an elderly gentleman there to save your bacon.

The only elderly gentleman in my pits was Tom lol - you never get mad polaris?  Its the heat of the moment, everyone gets over it sooner or later and I never said anything afterward that I didn't say to his face.  I don't know/can't control what other people say. The simple fact is I was ready to let it go and he came to continue, we already had a chance to talk twice on the track.  I bumped him.  Yes, its that simple.  He had the choice to:  take it, bump me back or spin/wreck me.  Apparently he chose the last.  Whatever, I didn't go to be the first loser, tried what I had to do and it didn't work.  It's just one race, lots more important things in life.

Polaris,

I have no idea what's bee is in your bonnet. I'd suggest you be careful what you wish for. Walter's and Mitchell raced for all the marbles. It's over with and you just don't get it.

If there was a fan or another team crew member in Mitchell's pits, they do so with risk of hearing things that they may not like.

Chris is one of the nicest guys around. Back him into a corner (like you're trying to do here) is petty on your part. You have no idea what you're dealing with. Walter's does, but you don't. Not to mention the simple fact, he's won and lost more than most, and knows how to move on. Both guys are a blast to be around. If you want everything to be all nice and polite, go watch go-karts or something...

Don's right - there are more important things to worry about after a race event. I've raced with all three, they've raced me clean, had some crashes, mistakes, the odd argument, but hell, we're still all talking and yapping and bench racing over the winter! You think you've heard some crap ? Hell I put up with a lot worse with most of them, I do after all run a real Ford motor... the grief I take... hah! You've heard nothing! I've had run-ins with a lot of the guys, and I'd run with everyone of them again anytime any place.

They're all home in one piece and will be back at it again next year.

Hey Don, where you gonna run next year?

hi doug, probably back at peterboro. for my budget, that is the place to go. not too far to travel, and you do not have to spend a fortune on the car. this is all just for fun so no need to go overboard. had a blast at colors, bought two tires on friday for rear of car, made the show, stayed out of trouble and on lead lap. with all the things that happened we managed to finish in 6 place( lots of luck involved), and brought car home in one peice. hope to see you out there next season.

Well Wesley_Motorsports.....please don't make assumptions about what I do or do not know.....as you have absolutely no idea who I am.  And nowhere in any of my comments did I "wish" for anything!!

I was there, witnessed the whole thing, and heard the comments.  And for the record....when tempers get flared....things are not nice(that is racing)....but when its over....there should remain a level of RESPECT....for the fans and for other drivers and crew.....and that is where my "bee" is.

last comment - polaris13 - you summed it up yourself my friend.  We don't know who you are and you know all of us.  We're involved and all pay our own way, you own or drive a car?  I'm more than happy to chat with you (or anyone else) anytime one on one and we can discuss or differences.  You call RESPECT telling a guy that just gave you a bump and run half by accident and caused ZERO damage to your car, that you are going to destroy him?  That's RESPECT?  He gave me back more than I gave him, I got mad, said me piece, its OVER.  At the very least we are more than even, he spun me out of the lead didn't he?  He wants to wreck me? Fine. I will fix the car and give it back.  Whats the point?  We will both end up spending a whack of cash that isn't neccessary.  Worst case one of us might get hurt, I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone in Ontario at this level making a living from racing around here.  Like I said earlier, there are lots more important things.  Thanks for watching and having an opinion, its what makes this sport great and keeps the fans coming back so we can do this.

Wait till I bump and run Chris next year... he'll give me an earful, as I wind up in the wall at the next turn....

Does this mean you are giving up on the Ford motor so you can keep up next year Doug?
