You are in control of that.

There are two heat races screw up in one and you another. Plus the name of the game in heat races if you are points racing is not to crash, you take it easy and you make the feature. Take it easy in time trials and you are out of the feature.

Its not crashing that you are worried about. Plug wire falls off - with two heats who cares if you finish last in one, if you are any good you'll make it back in the next. If your plug wire falls off in your two laps of qualifying you are screwed.

You are very confused on the double feature thing,I would think there would be double features and a B feature for non qualified driver's. A B feature for non qualified drivers is not double features, and Nascar329 no one called u an idiot! Please read thread again, wait let me read again maybe I'm confused.
...
slowel you seem to be kind of a Jerk :) obvious you haven't been around racing for many, many years ................... I have and until some one changed things with Fast cars at front FEATURES ALWAYS STARTED TOP POINTS CARS TO BACK ! Did you ever go to Pinecrest "not likely" be to far for you OR you not old enough

No Jerk here but people should be able to read post correctly. So they do time trials and start heads up then invert finishing order for next feature so you get to see fast cars at back.So you like watching a car run 2 heats that mean nothing and a 25 lap feature or 70 laps of feature racing????Nascar329 what does going to Pincrest have to do with anything,I went to Maple Leaf Gardens and I'm a hockey expert now!I have been going to races for 35 years though and know a little bit.LOL

He has a point there.

However it doesn't change the fact that time trials are like watching paint dry.

If they want to be NASCAR so bad, maybe they should do as NASCAR does and hold qualifying during the week. LOL. Save the fans the pain of watching that.

Hey I'm a Pete fan like u to both but bottom line is Sunset has and will provide the best racing again this year,I just don't like how everything revolves around Sunset but can't blame Mark Dilly for making his track make money!

In the states they have time trials before the race card starts maybe they'll do that?

Haven't had a lot of time on computer lately but just for the record time trials will be before the start time of the nights racing stands will be open to people but we will time trial and run some heats before opening ceremonies you have to understand that we have a lot of cars and it would be impossible to run all the qualifying from 6 oclock on we would be going home at 1 in the morning and that does not work for families at all so that will not be happening, I could lie and say I have it all figured out but it is impossible to figure everything out till we see how many cars we get, If I have to I will keep adjusting till I get it right that is all I can do.
I hope to see everyone at the track and if I don't please have a safe and exciting race season wish everyone the best of luck.
Mark

Excellent! Looks like it will be a jam packed night then.

Feel for the competitors and staff, years past it took a good 3 hours to get in just 2 rounds of practice. More cars plus time trials looks like its going to be a 9am start on race day for them. lol
