So here we go! The 50 lap mad dash for $1000.00 for the Thunder invite. How many cars will be allowed in the Feature, and how many cautions will there be. My prediction - 30 cars in the feature, and 15 cautions. If you are the lucky dog to start out front you may just go home $1000.00 richer. Should be a whole lotta fun!!!

Gonna be awesome! ...It's starting at 7 correct? beacuse of Fan Apperication? I don't get off work till 6..but I'm gonna try to sneak out about 5:45 so I'l get there on time.

I have a strong feeling its going to be a wreck fest..but then again...most guys are racing for points at there home tracks, so I don't know..but should be exciting to watch!!! :D

True...But 1000$ is alot of money...specially this time of season...it would help out alot of guys...at the frosty they have all winter to get money for next season...

I think there will be a decent number of cars...we'll have the regular Sunset cars...plus Kawartha and who ever can take the night off at there home tracks!!
Should be a good turn out even if Barrie Cars can't make it!

I know 5 or 6 cars from Sauble are coming and they are sacrificing a points night to be there too.

Oh more then lickly who ever either really wants the money...or they guys that arn't in it for points, or arn't in the points running, will probably show...
Either way should be interesting to watch!! Can't wait!!

How many regualer TC's does Sunset have? 18? or so..... I guess adding in 2-4 from here & there...ect. It should be a great field could be close to 30 cars

I've never been that early either, but I was talking to a lady in the booth about it ages ago when I came at like 5 one day and she was saying that now they open at 1pm. Again, I also haven't been there that early, but she said it clears up the line so nobody has to wait (like some of us did for almost an hour one night.)

My car is still sitting on the trailer from wednesday's rain out .........where it was still sitting from fridays rain out ,with a brand new motor in it ready to go, I'v got gears for it for Sunset.

Ya'know I'm thinking the whole night could be a little wild..from what I'v notised at tracks...any time theres mutiple weeks off..for whatever reason..everyone comes back so amped up...and ancy...that wild things are bound to happen ;)
regardless the best news is there not calling for ANY rain Saturday..but we'll wait and see....lets just all hope.

No I'm not, and it's too bad as I had a ball when I came up last year for the frosty.
I was realy looking forward to coming back I just missed the show last year with the wrong gear, old tires and a junk motor. I feel like I have some unfinnished business to tend to at Sunset.
I'm looking forward to my first ever trip to Barrie (one of the last tracks in this part of the province I'v never raced anything at) in the fall and of corse Autmn Colours (we're already looking forward to that on the drive home from it each year!!)
