RANGER AND TEAM MOPAR READY FOR CHAUDIERE
June 8, 2015. Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team have been working hard to prepare for round number two of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series coming up this Saturday June 13th at the Autodrome Chaudière. Following a four-week break after the series opening round Ranger is anxious to get back in action.
The Roxton Pond, Quebec native appeared to be on his way to a strong finish during the inaugural series visit to the 1/3-mile track a year ago but late contact dropped them back in the field. “I think we proved last year that we’re fast on the ovals and I’m looking forward to getting back in action this weekend,” stated Ranger.
Three hundred grueling laps on the tight bullring at Chaudière is a challenge and Ranger knows the importance of good results in a short season. “We have to make sure we finish the race,” he stated. “And of course we want to try and win some races to focus on winning another championship” he added.
Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge will hit the track for practice and qualifying Saturday June 13th in the afternoon and the 300 lap race that evening at Autodrome Chaudière. Spectator gates open at Noon.
