RANGER FINISHES STRONG IN MOPAR DODGE

September 29, 2018. Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team hit the track for the final event of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series on Saturday at Jukasa Motor Speedway just outside Hamilton, Ontario. With another determined effort by Ranger and the team they scored a fifth place result to close out the 2018 season.

Action commenced with practice on Saturday afternoon and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team worked to have the car ready for 200 laps of racing in the evening.  During the qualifying session Ranger posted the fourth fastest time to line up on the outside of row two.  “The car felt very good and I think we have a good set up for long runs in the race tonight” said the driver afterwards.

As the green flag dropped Ranger kept the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge toward the front of the field in the early going.  As the race moved forward and the team completed scheduled pit stops first for fuel and then for fresh tires Ranger was again contending for a solid result.

A couple of late race caution periods slowed the field and the action on track was intense and the final laps of the 2018 season were completed.  Pushing hard right until the end of the race Ranger brought the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge across the finish line with a fifth place result, it was the eighth time this season Team Mopar has recorded a top ten finish, highlighted by two race victories.

“This year we really did some good things,” said Ranger.  “The car was fast all year, we had a car to compete every weekend and we got two wins. We had a couple of mechanical issues but sometimes you will have a bit of bad luck.  “I want to thank Mopar and all the guys for their hard work during the season and all year long”.

Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team wish to thank their many fans for the tremendous support they’ve received all season and look forward to being back on track in 2019.
