Brighton Speedway Introduces New Kidz Klub For 2016 Season

 

BRIGHTON (April 29, 2016) – Brighton Speedway is excited to announce it will host a new Kidz Klub for the 2016 racing season. The all new Kidz Klub will provide nine exciting nights of events from 6:00pm-7:00pm before the night’s racing action begins.

 

A Kidz Klub membership is just $5 per child to register and goes towards supplies, which will be used to facilitate the club. Sign-up for the Kidz Klub runs until May 21. The KIdz Klub is designed for children ages 4-12. Kidz Klub members will receive free admission on the nine Kidz Klub nights.

 

The first Kidz Klub night is scheduled for May 28. Kidz Klub members with 100% attendance will be eligible for a bike raffle during the Labour Day Classic Weekend on September 3-4. Kidz Klub Members will also receive a membership card with their picture on it and a lanyard.

 

Other incentives include a free small popcorn for members on Kidz Klub nights and the ability to purchase the Kidz Klub combo, which includes a slushie, small popcorn and ring pop for just $4 on any race night.

2016 Brighton Speedway Kidz Klub Schedule

 

Night 1 – May 28 – Schedule of Events and Meet and Greet with other Kidz Klub Members

 

Night 2 – June 11 – Paint Your Picture Frame: The Speedway will provide all necessary items to decorate your own original Brighton Speedway Picture Frame.

 

Night 3 – June 25 – Picture with your Favourite Driver: Pre-register to have your picture taken with your favourite driver at 5:30pm.

 

Night 4 – July 2 – Face Painting: Pre-race face painting in the Courtyard.

 

Night 5 – July 16 – Scavenger Hunt: Participants have until intermission to find a list of 15 items.

 

Night 6 – July 30 – Poster Contest: Create a picture of anything racing related on a piece of Bristol board. Prizes for most creative and drivers’ favourite.

 

Night 7 – August 13 – Fan Appreciation T-Shirts: Each Kidz Klub Member will receive a t-shirt and a marker to get autographs from drivers during fan appreciation.

 

Night 8 – August 27 – Flinstone Car Competition/Box Car Races: Race your homemade Flinstone car at intermission.

 

Night 9 – September 3/4 – Driver Dress-up Relay: Kidz Klub Members will be divided in to teams for a relay race to get dressed as a racecar driver.

 

Bike giveway – Kidz Klub members with 100% attendance will be entered to win a bike!

About RUSH Late Model Racing: The RUSH Dirt Late Model Series sanctions weekly crate late model racing at 14 dirt tracks in five U.S. states (Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia) and one Canadian province (Ontario). The weekly series boasts a points fund of over $27,000. The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Late Model Touring Series will host 18 events in 2016. The tour will visit 13 different racetracks in three states (New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania) and Ontario while awarding $5000 to the tour champion and paying down the top 12 positions. Overall, the RUSH Dirt Late Model Series will put $170,000 in cash and contingencies directly in to the hands of local racers.
