DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series, Mod-Lites and 6 features this Sunday at Cornwall Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Thursday, July 27, 2017 – Martin Bélanger – Another great night of racing is on the card this coming Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway as the DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series will be in town along with the Quebec Mod-Lite, a complete program for Modified and Sportsman as both classes will also have remake features from July 16, Propane Levac will present this evening of action.

We are expecting a lot of invaders for the 50-lap Pro-Stock event counting towards the DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series. The points battle is currently led by 4 american drivers as Rob Yetman was able to build a good lead over Robbie Speed, Dan Older and Jay Corbin. Dave Bissonnette is holding the 5th spots as Marc Lalonde in 7th and Roch Aubin in 9th are the other Cornwall regulars in the top 10. A total of 11 drivers took part in the first four races of the series, a field of nearly 25 cars should be in the pits this Sunday.

Modified and Sportsman divisions will also have a busy night as they will start early with the July 16th feature remake in both classes and then they will have full program. Competition is strong in both classes as they provided great action last Sunday evening.

The Quebec Mod-Lite will be in town as well for a 20-lap event, powered by a motorcycle engine and being a smaller copy of a Modified, they will bring a lot of excitement as the field should be completed by a few Mohawk regulars.

For this coming Sunday, the pit gates will open at 3pm with a cost of $25 and the general admission will open their doors at 4:30pm with a cost of $15 for adults, $8 for seniors and $2 for kids 16 years old and under. Pro-Stock will have time trials at 5:30pm with remake feature following right after
