OAK RACING WINS MOBIL 1 SPORTSCAR GRAND PRIX PRESENTED BY HAWK PERFORMANCE


(BOWMANVILLE, ON – July 13, 2014) The pole setting Nissan Morgan Prototype, piloted by France’s Olivier Pla and Gustavo Yacaman won the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix presented by Hawk Performance at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Burnaby, BC native Michael Valiante and co-driver Richard Westbrook finished second in the #90 Spirit of Daytona Corvette DP and the #10 Konica-Minolta Corvette DP driven by Ricky and Jordan Taylor were third in the Prototype class.

#3 Corvette Racing duo of Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia beat the #93 SRT Motorsports Viper of Montreal’s Kuno Wittmer and Jonathan Bomarito to win the GTLM class.

In GTD action, Riley Motorsports Jeroen Bleekemolen and Ben Keating took the win in their Dodge Viper SRT over Park Place Motorsports Patrick Lindsey and Kevin Estre.

In the U.S. based Cooper Tires Protoptype Lites, Remo Ruscitti of Burnaby, BC won the 29-lap race over Vancouver’s Mikhail Goikhberg by 16.749.
