Brad tried to add the sprints to the JCAR traveling series but unfortunately the traveling series has ceased to run this year due to insufficient car counts and loss of venues.

Outside of that, there isn't a traveling series available.

I hope that there is sufficient interest next year but we'll have to wait and see.

I would like to try my 6.5 sprint on a different track besides grand bend, like delware. I would join a traveling series if their is one?

Lets see what happens over the winter for 2009, perhaps Brad will take another look at having a couple out of town points races for everyone.

i dont know how many times ive seen people flip widly or barrel roll and not be hurt in a micro ive even done it and was completly fine.
I agree with micro52 on this one I personaly havn't flipped in a kart but i have seen people barrel roll 3-4 times and walk away who ever thinks that the karts aren't safe needs to watch the racing and see how few kids get hurt in a season.....In turn the karts are probly one of the safest divisions out there at GBS......the main reason for the ambulance getting called is either for a back/neck injury witch could happen in any division.......

I actually suggested this to Brad earlier in the year for 2009, and I think he was already considering it. Hopefully, a bunch of people don't get angry over having to travel to some other tracks, because it is a lot of fun to race somewhere different (especially when we camp in the parking lot afterwords!)

couldn't agree with you more Joel. I only hope more teams will be able to travel next year.
