New Year Leads to New Opportunities:
Canada’s Best Racing Team to Compete in the Trans Am Series
TORONTO, On (Jan. 12, 2015) –Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) and team owner, Bud Morris, have hinted at a number of exciting new opportunities for the 2015 season, and they haven’t fallen short on that promise. Just announced, the team will expand its NASCAR operations to the Trans Am TA2 Series in order to connect with fans in the United States, and continue to engage with their growing fan base in Canada.
Bringing decades of action-packed racing, the Trans Am series has experienced significant growth over the past few years, and now boasts that the TA2 series is the fastest growing class in road racing. This makes for the perfect time for CBRT to jump on board with the series.
“Our goal is to bring exciting new team ownership that will offer our drivers an opportunity to compete using top notch equipment in a highly competitive environment, and against the best teams and drivers in America,” says Joey McColm, Driver and General Manager of Canada’s Best Racing Team.
CBRT has partnered with McColl Racing Enterprises to prepare their first Ford Mustang TA2. With this partnership and expansion, the team looks forward to providing drivers with an opportunity to race in newly prepared race cars while represented by a team that is known for their reputation and ability to market and connect with racing fans across North America.
