Bourque wins Enduro 100 - Cormier wins Demo Series

Shediac, NB – Oct 25, 2015. CFS ended it's season Saturday afternoon with it's first ever “MudFest” event. A combination of infield mud and grass races, a stock car style enduro, and Car Wars Demolition events, MudFest, was a fitting finale to the CFS 2015 season which included a broad variety of motor sports.

Saturday's event began with Jeff Richard of Tignish starting off the winning taking $150 home from the “Dash for Cash”. Barrel Racing was up next with Jean-Francois Basque of Bouctouche winning the event for Front Wheel Drives and Shawn Duguay also of Bouctouche winning the Truck competition. The Enduro 100 saw Scott Bourque of Cap Pele make a triumphant return to racing at the CENTRE, with newcomer Jean-Marc Doiron also of Cap Pele taking second and Joel Dallaire of Tignish PEI rounding up the top 3. Next up was the Poll Bending event which saw the traditional Quarter Horse race turned into a motor sports event on mud. Dallaire was the winner once again in the car event and Marc Leger of Shediac, NB was the winner in the truck competition.

In the Demolition finale it was Chris Arsenault of Charlottetown as the last man standing with local driver Mario Richard finishing second and Billy Arsenault, also of PEI, rounding out the top three. The overall winner of the Demolition series at the speedway was Denis Cormier of Bouctouche who competed successfully in all four demo events throughout the season. Cormier scooped up 2 tickets to anywhere in North America for his season long efforts.

The CENTRE would like to thank our staff, competitors, sponsors, fans, and the media for their support throughout the season.
