PRO STOCK TOUR HEADS TO FREDERICTON’S SPEEDWAY 660 FOR CUMMINS 150

(Halifax, NS - June 27, 2017) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour returns to New Brunswick this Saturday making its only visit of the season at Speedway 660 for a special Canada Day edition of the Cummins 150. Speedway 660 is a 1/3 mile high banked oval located just outside of Fredericton in Geary, NB.  Saturday’s Cummins 150 marks round five of 12 for the popular Maritime based touring series. Qualifying for the Cummins 150 gets underway with Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races slated for 6:30 PM.

Cummins provides sales, parts and service support across an integrated network of branches throughout North America including three maritime locations; Dartmouth, NS, Fredericton, NB and Montrose, PEI. Depend on Cummins to get you the help you need whenever you need it - day or night.

There is a new championship point leader heading into Speedway 660, Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) has taken a slim eight point lead over season long point leader and two-time Series champ Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS). Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) has had a strong string of races which is paying off in points as Gosbee sits third in the standings. Current Series champion Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) enters the Canada Day event in fourth, still well within the hunt. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) has also been consistent on the track this season landing him in the fifth position for the coveted Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour title.

Greg Fahey (St. Stephen, NB) leads the New Brunswick contingent on Saturday for the Cummins 150. Fahey is a four-time Pro Stock champion at Speedway 660 and won the track title in 2016. Sarah McKay (Quispamsis, NB) makes her return to the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, as does Smithtown's Matt Rodgers. Fresh off his first start in nearly a decade, Mike Rodgers (Moncton, NB) will make his second consecutive start with the Series. Devin Snell (Saint John, NB) will look to turn his luck around in his third start of the 2017 season.

Street Stocks and four-cylinders will also be on track Saturday prior to the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour main event.

Tickets for the Cummins 150 will be available at the gate on race day. Admission is $25.00 for Adults (16yrs and up), Youth are $15.00 (13-15 yrs.) and Children under 12 are free. Pit admission is $30.00. Complete event information can be found at www.maritimeprostocktour.com
