Carol,
Here is the write up from Arnie on the website about the late models. Kenny finished 5th. Was getting pushed around by Kennedy alot, I believe he finally pushed him out of the way to get under him and a few guys went around him at that point.
"Rick Rump who seems to have found new life after signing his new advertiser "Deere" a division of John Deere, showed why he has been the track champion the past two years, winning the feature and adding to his points total for the 2008 run for the championship. The late model class was the best of the season for regular nights , with Steve Munro of Carp and Claude Leclair of Montreal making unusual stops at the speedway for regular nights the field was good and the racing was great. In the early goings Tim Dorning in the 88 looked to be the car to beat as he reeled off both heat race wins and looked like a contender for the feature. But that was not to be as Sean Kennedy and Rump battled it out for the top spot and the top of the points heap also with Rump as earlier mentioned taking the feature win. Lyle Perkins once again put in a strong performance with Munro and Baird rounding out the top five."
