Kyle Busch needs Schooling

I can't believe he wrecked Ron for that incident. Ron's running for a championship and has a fender on Kyle, yet Kyle thinks he should have backed out. OK so even if we give Kyle that, it's still not a reason to wreck someone after the deal like he did. Apparently Mr Childress didn't teach the whole lesson, it should get interesting to see if Harvick settles this at Miami in the truck series.

He needs to be parked for the weekend. Maybe then he'd get the message. Take someone out of the championship race, take yourself out too.

NASCAR parked Harvick from the Sunday cup race in '02 for spinning someone under caution in a truck race at Martinsville. And I'm pretty sure that was at way less speed than this incident.

i think that if your penalized for something in the one division, especially if it's something as stupid as this, it should carry over to the other division...heck that happens with kids just playing local hockey...
no matter who was at fault to start it, kyle was a complete A hole the way he chased hornaday down and then demoed both of them...

..... and it may not be over with just this weekend either, as per Mike Helton.

Kudos to NASCAR for stepping up.

after all the shit KHI/RCR has put him through and then Ron Hornaday running out of talent twice and taking them both out...(I still say the second one was intentional) I'm glad Kyle ended it...You think KB is cocky......you aint seen nothing til u've seen kevin and delana.

Thayne.. What race were you watching?? Hornaday and Busch were side by side and it just so happened that there was a lapped car on the inside. The inside car took the air off Hornaday and that is what caused Hornaday to slide up the track. What KB did was absolutely disgraceful!! And yes, KB is cocky. He thinks he is better than everyone else on the track...

So you are telling me that Hornaday could have saved it? Even though Bucsh was that close to him going around a lapped car?? And had the air taken off of him??
And what you are saying that Hornaday is a bad driver, thats why he is going for his 5th championship, right? I thought so..
Putting aside who is the better driver, Hornaday or Bucsh, what Bucsh did was not necessary. He did not have to bury Hornaday in the wall.. After both of them tagged the wall, they should have said "Alright.. This can be fixed.." and then talk about it after the race.. Simple.

No matter what the racing incident circumstances, Busch's loss of self control in wrecking Hornaday under caution is the point of the suspension. The tv announcers claimed that Hornaday would have been at 140 mph at point of impact. Anyone who can defend Busch's action should have been in Hornadays shoes and let's see how they react. This is not Busch's first offense. A guy who cannot control his emotions at this level deserves what he gets. Besides, I am still pissed that he destroyed that Gibson guitar lol.  ;D

Yep, you guys are right Ron caused this!! I can't believe Ron didn't pull out of the way for Kyle, after all he only had him by a fender and the championship on the line. ::)

Oh here's Kyle with his tail between his legs.

Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM)
The following is a letter written by Kyle Busch to his fans, sponsors, teammates, competitors and fellow members of the racing community.

“To all,

I’ve had a lot of time today to sit and reflect, and try to put my thoughts into words as best I can.”

“I want to sincerely apologize for my actions during Friday night’s Truck Series race at Texas.”

“I apologize to my fans, all my sponsors, everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch Motorsports.”

“After talking with my team, it’s great to have their support and encouragement to assure me that there are better days ahead. Even though this took place while driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, I am sorry for how difficult this has been for everyone associated with Joe Gibbs Racing’s Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series teams.”

“I’d also like to apologize to Ron Hornaday Jr., and everyone associated with the No. 33 team in the Truck Series.”

“I understand why I was taken out of the car for the rest of the weekend. NASCAR officials had to act, and I accept their punishment and take full responsibility for my actions.”

“As a racecar driver, the hardest thing to do is to sit on the sidelines listening to cars on the track when you know you should be out there competing. For this, I have no one to blame but myself.”

“Through a lot of support from the people around me, I feel like I’ve made a lot of strides this year, but this was certainly a step backward. Moving forward, I will do everything I possibly can to represent everyone involved in a positive manner. However, I know my long-term actions will have more of a bearing than anything I say right now.”

Sincerely,
Kyle Busch

The problem was, yes the lapped truck took the wind off Hornaday and sent him up into Busch, THE FIRST TIME. That’s racing, I doubt Busch would’ve cared. The problem was the second time that put them both into the wall. He couldn’t collect his truck, so rather than letting off, collecting it he stayed full on it, out of control. The only thing that saved him from wrecking it then and there was that Busch’s truck served as a bumper! It was a dumb luck second save, and it was his stupid choice to risk both trucks with a last turn to the checkers style move, rather than safely collecting his truck and taking another run at Busch later.

so you're saying that kyle couldn't have let off the gas... after all hornaday had the line and was passed the door, and busch was crowding him down into the other truck

As I sit here reading the comments, even the "best" make mistakes.  I have only raced 3 years and I've made some big ones myself.  I want to thank all the drivers who have raced against me for their patience and allowing me to have so much fun.  You guys are awesome.  I think Thunder Cars are one of the best classes out there.  I also want to THANK the track owners for giving me the opportunity to let loose and have so much fun.  This year we won $3,375.00 and my sponsors donated another $5,000.00 for a total of $8,375.00 donated to Easter Seals.  I want to THANK all of my sponsors (54) for their generosity.  Hope to see everyone next year and have again as much fun.  It's all up to us to make it happen.
Git er dun, Marv     :)

You are pleasure to see at the track, along with the demeanor you bring, you set an outstanding example of sportsmanship, on and off the track, that many could learn from.

Kudos for donations to the Easter Seals too!!! ;D

I'd really like to hear Mark Watsons' and Jesse Kennedys' thoughts on all of this.
