Biggest Names in DIRTcar Racing Look for a Northeast Fall Nationals Win

By Jim Clarke, Clarke Motorsports Communications/First Draft Media

A checkered flag from the 1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals is one of the most coveted prizes in provincial motorsports.

Home track favourites will take on the circuit’s top travelling teams in a fight for the finish line at the marquee event of Brockville Ontario Speedway’s 2015 season. Racing starts at 7:00 Friday, October 16th and features the Small Block Modifieds, Late Models and Street Stocks. Big Block, Sportsman Modifieds and Vintage Mods are the featured divisions Saturday, October 17th – along with a 40 lap 4 cylinder invitational, paying $500.00 to win – with the first qualifying heat race hitting the clay at 4:00.

A pair of the sport’s biggest names have seen different levels of Northeast Fall Nationals’ success. Unadilla, New York’s Billy Decker has wheeled his #91 Gypsum Racing machine to the Brockville Ontario Speedway winner’s circle on 3 occasions, taking the Big Block victory in 2013 after Small Block triumphs in 2010 and 2011. Vernon, New Jersey star Brett Hearn – who has won nearly everything there is to win in DIRTcar Racing, including multiple Syracuse and Mr. DIRTcar titles – has yet to savour the sweet taste of a victory at the late season extravaganza. After a number of seasons on the World of Outlaws Late Model tour, Tim Fuller of Edwards, New York – another former Super Dirt Week champ – is expected to be in the Big Block Modified starting field.

The 7th edition of the Northeast Fall Nationals is a must-see event for fans, with 2 days of incredible racing action on the popular 3/8th of a mile clay oval on Temperance Lake Road, north of Brockville and 3 live bands throughout the weekend, starting with the crowd favourite Ambush, Friday afternoon at 2:00.

Don’t miss a single second of the action at this year’s edition of the 1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals – a Craig Revelle Tribute – at Brockville Ontario Speedway. Presented by St. Lawrence Radiology and Rez X Racing. Sponsored by 103.7 BOB-FM, The Brockville Recorder & Times and CKWS-TV. Friday, October 16th, racing starts at 7:00 and features the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Street Stocks. DIRTcar Big Blocks, Sportsman Modifieds, Vintage Mods and the 40 lap 4 cylinder invitational take the spotlight for a 4:00 green flag Saturday, October 17th.

Returning to the DIRTcar Modified ranks for the first time in a number of years, Tim Fuller will be among the travelling stars looking for a Northeast Fall Nationals win at Brockville Ontario Speedway.
