Jukasa Motor Speedway Adds ‘Saugeen Shores Transmission as The Title Sponsor for The Super Stock Invitational at Canadian Short Track Nationals

CAYUGA, ON - Jukasa Motor Speedway General Manager Alex Nagy has confirmed that longtime Port Elgin, ON business owner Marvin Ella and his Saugeen Shores Transmission has signed on as title sponsor of the 50-lap Super Stock portion of the September 2nd Canadian Short Track Nationals.

Marvin, a longtime fan of Ontario short track racing, has a storied history of supporting racers, teams and events at speedways across Ontario.  “This weekend is one that has me excited as a fan and a sponsor,” says Ella. “I think that Jukasa is a special place for racing in Ontario, and an event as big as this one is going to bring out the very best of the best. This is one race that every Super Stock racer in the province is going to want on their resume”

The September 2nd contest will carry a number of contingency prizes, including a new 3-speed Saginaw 1.50:1 Ratio Transmission awarded to the winner. In addition, 2nd place will receive $400 worth of racing products and 3rd place will receive $250 worth of racing products.

Additional still, will be a bevy of contingency cash awards totaling $1,250.00, with prizes of $250.00 being awarded to the Pole Award winner, the leader at lap-25, the Hard Charger Award winner and the driver that leads the most laps. Plus, there will be a random pre-race draw held, in which another driver entered into the 50-lap contest will also win a $250 cash prize.

For Nagy, it’s evident that the partnership with Ella and Saugeen Shores Transmission is a huge breakthrough for the event and is certainly expected to help entice many of the top Super Stock teams across Ontario and beyond to converge on Jukasa Motor Speedway this September 2nd.

"All of our events are big in 2018 at Jukasa but the ‘Canadian Short Track Nationals’ will be Canada's biggest and richest stock car event of the year,” beams Nagy. “We are so excited to have Marvin Ella and Saugeen Shores Transmission sign on as the sponsor of the Super Stock 50-lap race on Sept. 2nd. These awards - along with the huge purse - will help attract the biggest field of Super Stocks that has been seen in a long time".
