For the record it was Beau Burrows and it is on tape that Britt intentionally turned  into the side of him....so it won't cost his a championship, suspension maybe.  Did he handle it correctly, obviously not but tempers flare.  Anyway just wanted to correct your info!!

My Mistake...I thought it was Dave, sorry.

...that I'm blaming the Starter for...not saying it might have not hap pend..but if your not happy with the re-start...THROW THE GREEN..anyway and then throw a yellow down the back stretch or something...or throw the yellow from the get go (still a bad idea) but it's better then DOING NOTHING! and just holding the flag in your hand and not doing anything....because you have guys stopping and some not...and it just caused a wreck that involved what seemed like half the field...Walters took a wild ride as he climbed the wall ..and the car looked to take serious damage..but some how!...they got it fixed I really dunno how it looked really beat up no dout.  worst damage looked to be to the 21 as the right front of that car was demolished.

Me hears a volunteer taking over a job here. Try it it, I helped 2 times last year and trust me it is an impossible task. Do not know how you think the restart was  no good (Take a look in Danka's video in a separate post) but are you aware they restart in corner 3? Remember the old saying of taking a walk in someone elses shoes. However if you can help Rob and Murry would love to have you.

By the way when did Sunset decide to have a Miss Sunset - YAHOO she is a damn fine looking add on even without cupcakes

Hey, I never said it was not a hard job.....I'm not saying mistakes happen...and like I said it could have happend anyway...but my point is he never threw the green or caution...he just held the flag in his hand....which confused me  ???

I'm not saying he does a bad job...I'm not bashing him...I'm not saying I could do better.... I'm just simply saying I think it was was a mistake to stand there and not throw a flag

Great job by everyone. congradulation to the Duce,Herb, Junior, Ed, and most of all His Majesty THE POLISH PRINCE, you are a first class guy. This has been the best week on CRO that I have seen since becoming a member. You brought us all together. You brought two rivalry tracks together as one. I as one of your humble subjects will now BOW in the most proudest way and thank you. HAIL TO THE PRINCE. You are a true CHAMPION.

WOW, I saw the whole incident, and I have no favorites, but that is totally not what happened. Britt was holing his lane, and Burrows turned into Britt to try and get around a slower car, then threw a fit! The only one that he should have been mad at is himself!

3 Way I realize that and I just reread my response - it seems unduly harsh. Sorry about that. But to let you know their instructions to me on a corner 3 restart is to use the lights and not worry about the flag - drivers cannot see the starter position from 3 and depend on the corner 3 lights. And Rob also made it very clear to me if a major situation arises to use the lights first and then the flags so that all drivers know that S-H-I-T had hit the fan.

Sorry if my post seemed harsh.

the best part was there was no crap.  It was just some guys out there showing us why racing is fun and why most people wanted to become race car drivers in the first place, the healthy competition, and the pure joy of it.  No whining or complaining just the thrill of the racing!  And if a guy beat you or bumped you " HEY THATS RACING". Kudos to "the check casher" and "the ploish prince" for starting off what had become a GREAT thread on CRO and a fantastic thunders race!   Congrats to Dave Doucette for the win!!

NOW THIS IS WHY I LOVE RACING!!!!!!!

Cheers :)

Classiest move of race goes to the TC 25 - after she gets nailed and pushed to the grass - she keeps it going and does not cause a yellow. This entire field/race was full of class acts!!

Going to make todays NASCAR race on the television like watching tennis.

WOW  What a night of racing. By far the most entertaining night of racing all year and that includes all the tracks i've been to this year.Congrats to Wes and his staff for doing all things right. By running the fun 4s and 4 cyls heats and features as they gave the barrie drivers the time to make the drive from their home track,by giving them time to properly unload and then run some shake down laps and then giving driver intros for each driver.Made my night and year to date as i watched all the barrie haulers come through the gates. Couldn't have been a better sight to see as a hardcore race fan. A huge thank you to all the barrie guys that showed up to put on what i consider one of my most memorable race nights. Also to any other drivers that made the treck as i think there might have been a few. I would also like to thank Jim [The Polish Prince]for putting the fun back in racing. If cro has an award for sportsman-sportsperson of the year i would like to be the first to nominate Jim as he has done for local racing what so many have failed at before, bringing rival tracks and drivers together for the good of racing.A huge thank you to Jim but also to Wes for such a fabulous evening.

By the way when did Sunset decide to have a Miss Sunset - YAHOO she is a damn fine looking add on even without cupcakes

Hahaha, I have no idea who you are, but thanks, I think. haha I was looking for somebody with the cupcakes and I was brought none! So disappointed. If you had heard my interveiw with Brendan, I explained how I went up to the track on Wednesday, and Wes and I had a discussion about the new saftey in fourfuns and how unfortunatly I would not be racing anymore due to the "lack of" new stuff that I don't want to put into the car, near the end of the conversastion Wes had asked me to show up on Saturday and be Miss Sunset Speedway, and I refused (many many times... I actually sat there and laughed for a while too.) I showed up on Saturday to tell him that I wouldn't be doing it, it was just too weird for me to be presenting trophies to a lot of the guys I know. But he managed to talk me into it, plus I kinda warmed up to the job during the night. It was fun!

Miss Sunset knows how to neuter.
Don't mess with the new car. =)
