Gold Coast 600
Friday 20 October, 2017

Practice 1: 14th (Fastest lap - 1:11.8693)
Practice 2: 14th (Fastest lap - 1:11.8101) *Co-driver Steven Richards
Practice 3: 10th (Fastest lap - 1:10.6817)

Craig Lowndes - #888 Holden Commodore VF

"It was a really good day, we're no doubt happy with where the car is at. We made a lot of changes over the course of the day and for us it's been very productive. We managed to be in the 10 at the end of the last session when everyone had good tyres so it's an indication to where we are at. Both Steve (Richards) and I are very happy with the progress of the car. We need to find a little bit more to be further in the top end of the 10 but all in all we are really happy with today. Bring on tomorrow, we believe the weather is going to be completely turned on its head and we'll be fighting in the wet. Today was a very positive day."

Steven Richards - #888 Holden Commodore VF

"We had a good day, the car is making a lot of sense and we're making forward progress. There's always a reason for things but the time Craig had done in practice three was set very early in the session, so feeling pretty good, he's liking the car and so I am, so it's promising. With the weather tomorrow everyone is going to be dropped in so we will see what happens."
