APC Pro Late Model Series Comes to Play This Weekend at Peterborough Speedway

Some interference by Mother Nature meant things were a couple of weeks late leaving the starting blocks, but the 2018 season at Canada’s Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval is making up for lost time and hitting top speed this weekend with another night of the best motorsports action Central Ontario has to offer.
Head to Peterborough Speedway Saturday, June 16th and check out the return of the exciting APC Pro Late Model Series 100 lapper, along with the hometown Bone Stocks, Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Trucks and Trailers Plus Ontario Legends. Pit gates will open at noon, with the spectator grandstands unlocked at 3:00 and racing getting underway at 5:00.
“Using everything the fans saw on opening night as a template, it should be another great show,” J.P. Josiasse, track owner and promoter said. “All of our teams were in mid-season form and put together an incredible event from green flag to checkered in every division. We had some impressive car counts across the board and that’s a trend that I can see continuing throughout the year.”
Make a trip to Peterborough Speedway part of your weekend plans. Find your favourites at the track’s food concessions, with a pub-style menu offering everything from Jalapeno burgers to their famous fresh-cut fries. Then settle-in for an impressive night of family entertainment that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.
Looking ahead on the schedule to Saturday, June 23rd for racing with the Can Am TQ Midgets, Renegade Trucks, Super Stocks, Ontario Modifieds Racing Series and a 50 lap main event for the Jiffy Lube Mini Stocks. Saturday, June 30th, Lucas Oil Products presents a regular night of action with the Bone Stock, Mini Stock, Renegade Truck, Super Stock and Late Model classes and the Cottage Country Dash for Cash program of 10 lap shootouts for each division.
