Maybe $45 at the gate was a bit high, but $35 in advance was reasonable. There are tickets available for sale at some area establishments, so the increase and ticketmaster fee may be avoided. Like I said in a previous post, you can't beat the $99 season pass even if you can't make every race. At $35 for the NCTS race, it's on par with Cayuga ticket prices from 20 years ago. Tickets sold for $25-$35 reserved, depending on the event. I still have the stubs. That's a pretty modest increase in comparison to other entertainment and sporting events over that time period. Nothings cheap these days. No one should be surprised at an increase. Anything with the Nascar brand logo is more expensive than it's counterparts. Anyway, value for the dollar is up to the individual. Some will enjoy themselves despite the cost and others will never be satisfied even if it's free. This applies to almost anything, not just racing. The Canadian racing season is short enough, so I'm going to dust off my rose coloured glasses and try and enjoy as much as I can. Anyone else in ?

Signed,
RACENUT (chronic race fan)

Yuppers racenut I will be there.....Just wish we had brought the old RV for the rest of the entertainment. Saw all the campers there and knew that I was missing the rest of the Cayuga Experience.
I will be at the oval race at Mosport, Kawartha, Barrie and maybe Montreal. I wish Delaware still had a race too

Advance ticket prices?? I would have gladly paid the $35.00 fee if I was more aware of the advance price compared to the at the gate price charged.  So I guess I'll have to watch the track sites more closely next time so I don't miss out.  I for one intend on travelling to as many events as possible as long as it doesn't interfere with watching the Friday night events at Kawartha.

Here's an idea maybe NASCAR could arrange to charge for a season pass to all the NCTS events instead of buying the tracks season pass you get a season pass for all the NCTS events?
