Maybe $45 at the gate was a bit high, but $35 in advance was reasonable. There are tickets available for sale at some area establishments, so the increase and ticketmaster fee may be avoided. Like I said in a previous post, you can't beat the $99 season pass even if you can't make every race. At $35 for the NCTS race, it's on par with Cayuga ticket prices from 20 years ago. Tickets sold for $25-$35 reserved, depending on the event. I still have the stubs. That's a pretty modest increase in comparison to other entertainment and sporting events over that time period. Nothings cheap these days. No one should be surprised at an increase. Anything with the Nascar brand logo is more expensive than it's counterparts. Anyway, value for the dollar is up to the individual. Some will enjoy themselves despite the cost and others will never be satisfied even if it's free. This applies to almost anything, not just racing. The Canadian racing season is short enough, so I'm going to dust off my rose coloured glasses and try and enjoy as much as I can. Anyone else in ?
