Anybody know where I can find one of these transmissions? Not sure if V6 and 4cyl were the same. It must bolt up to 2.3L I know a sweet young lady that is desperately looking for one so she can race her car.

I know lots of V6 cars, if that helps. I know the 4Banger is preferred (less man hours in engine swaps).

Correct me if I'm wrong I'm not a ford guy but I've always been told 4,6 and 8s all used the same 5 speed with different bellhousings. If that helps any?

Hey Jim
Must use a tranny for the 2.3 or if you find one for a 5.0 you have to change the pilot busing, the 5.0 shaft is a little bigger only at the input, also the gearing in a v8 tranny is a little different, i would try and find a 4cyl one!
i have used a 2.3 tranny behind a 5.0 with a home made bushing, worked great for years!
