RYAN LITT RACING PR: STARTING SUPERMODIFIED SEASON
By Tommy Goudge (May 14, 2015) - London, Ontario - Ryan Litt and his BS&B Radiator racing team started their 2015 season on the road at Berlin Raceway earlier this month, and now they're ready for a home race at Delaware Speedway on Friday.
The team started their season on May 2 with a winged Sprint Car event at Berlin Raceway near Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ryan earned a starting spot on the outside of the front row for the 30 lap Must See Racing Sprint Car series "Tom Bigelow Classic", but was forced to the sidelines with mechanical issues.
Ryan and the team are now preparing Dave Lair's #88 "Lairjet" Supermodified to compete in the International Supermodified Association (ISMA) opener at Delaware Speedway on Friday, May 15. The event also opens the two race "Harvey Lennox Memorial Series", which concludes at Delaware on August 21. Ryan's last Supermodified race at Delaware resulted in an 8th place finish in a 75 lap feature on August 16, 2013.
The team is also preparing a third different car for the 67th annual Little 500 for traditional wingless Sprint Cars at Indiana's Anderson Speedway on Saturday, May 23. Open practice starts the on-track activities for the Little 500 Festival at Anderson on Tuesday, May 19, followed by the Must See Racing 60 for winged Sprint Cars on Wednesday, May 20, Pole Day qualifying on Thursday, May 21, and Bump Day on Friday, May 22.
Ryan has competed in 9 Little 500 events, with 3 top 5 finishes and 5 top 10's. He led 135 laps of the grueling 500 lap distance in 2008 on his way to a career-best Little 500 finish of 4th. He was forced to drop out of last year's Little 500 after just 68 laps due to mechanical issues.
