Keep them coming it looks like a good topic and I'm getting a chuckle out of them.

Maybe we should do this as a on going thing and Call it the The 3-Wide CRO Awards. Sort of Catchy you have to give 3-wide the credit for it and it sounds good.

Best Track: Saying Ohsweken would be too biased, so I'll say Merrittville...I enjoyed both my trips to Brockville as well...

Best Finish: The end of one of the LM Triple Crown races I saw at Flamboro was pretty good, except the winner only got by because of a bump 'n run, which I hate, so I'll say this one instead:
Worst Wreck:
Best Looking Car:

Best Race/Race Weekend: World of Outlaws Late Model night at Ohsweken was the most fun night overall for me...

Hard Luck: Mike Thorne and his plethora of flat tires...also Ryan Litt's broken rear end while leading with less than 10 laps left in the AVSS race at Delaware.

Biggest Surprise Winner: Derek Jonathan at Humberstone.

'Doh Moment of the Year: John Riegling running out of fuel under caution in a regular Ohsweken feature.

Rookie of the Year: Ryan Hunsinger...4 feature wins, and rookie of the year with both SOS and Ohsweken's sprint car division.

Best Move/Pass:  Every pass Dale Blaney made on his way from 25th to 4th in the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals.

Temper Tantrum of the Year: I didn't see any real good ones this year, actually...I heard about a couple, but I can't comment fairly on them.

Most Sportsmanlike Driver: Joe Middlemiss

Best/Most Competitive Division:  Ohsweken Speedway Thunder Stocks...because I saw them go 5 wide twice this year without wrecking.

Best/Most Competitive "Touring Series": Can-Am Midgets

Driver of the Year: Steve Poirier

Up and Coming Driver:  Mitchell Brown...son of Doug Brown and grandson of Harold Brown...finished 2nd in Ohsweken's Mini-Stock points this year.

Biggest Surprise Winner:Jim Beleskey #12 TC Barrie, sorry I missed it
'Doh Moment of the Year:6 Camaro's with broken axles on one night
Rookie of the Year:Donny Brandon, Barrie TC #15, by far
Best Move/Pass:Ken Denhollander going 3 wide with Troy Potts on the outside and not even knowing it!
Temper Tantrum of the Year:Sureus / Sikes mini war

haha I dunno bout that....think we can just stick with "CRO Awards".....although it is catchy I give you that!...kinda like it's the CRO Awards but the "trophy you win is a "3-Wide" haha

Guess I should give some of my opinion...

Best Track:Kawartha......although Barrie/Ohsweken come in a close 2nd.

Best Finish:Jongen/Lewis last race LLM ( I didn't actually see it but from pictures..and hearing about it it must have been the best)  also could be mentioned was Vic Parsons/Dwight Brown at KD & Larry Jackson/McHattie at KD

Worst Wreck:TC Pile up at AC.

Best Looking Car:Chance Isherwoods TC

Best Race/Race Weekend:Fall Coulers.....APC 300 & Summer Sizzler come in close 2nd

Hard Luck:Jason Witty at AC

Biggest Surprise Winner:a lot of suprise wins...can't really pick just 1

'Doh Moment of the Year:a few could be named...haha  but I'm gonna say Gordie & Bryant crashing on there way into the pits at KD

Rookie of the Year:Jason Juriga.......Won the KD Championship & Fall Coulers

Best Move/Pass:to many to think of just 1

Temper Tantrum of the Year: again a lot of good candidates for this...but I'l go with Urlin stealing
the safty truck at Oktoberfest

Most Sportsmen like Driver: to many to name

Best/Most Competitive Division:There was a lot of them..but I'l go with TC's at Barrie/LM at Kawartha/Sprints at Ohsweken

Best/Most Competitive"Touring Series":Not to sure on this one.

Driver of the Year:Glenn Watson

Ok Best Track Sunset now I am not getting into crap but configuation and size. Best Race anything that involved 2 cars door to door at the line and there were alot Kristi Wolfe and Rob Skyler Walters and Morrow Weekly and Witty and Walters at AC. I know there are tons more. Hard Luck anyone who made their way to the track and got rained out. Four fun drivers at Sunset. Best Appearing Car Chance Isherwood Kristi Wolfe Terry Tompkins and Ken Denhollander BEST EFFORT Kevin Aiken Devan Craft Dave Botting     Sportsman Ken the Grinch Denhollander   Doh Moment Leonard driving with the hood of his car over his windshield. WORST WEAPON  the 27 car I am sure you are very nice off the track but man race under control.

Support the Dream and the WINNERS will follow.
You can bring a RACER to the track but Can't make him RACE!
