OK Time for Racing Trivia. Not sure how this will work but lets give it a try.

We have young and old racers and race fans on CRO. Let see what you really know.

I was thinking about this for a while now and the 10th year we are going to do it.

We can do it as a poll or someone can pm me a racing trivia question with the answer.

I will post the question and give people a few days or a week to answer the question. We can keep track of scores or do it as for fun.

I have a question but no answer.

Q: What was the most amount a laps down was a Cascar driver to comeback and win the race? I know the driver and I think I know the amount of laps. Can some one answer this one and to even go further on it can some one remember the year and track it happened at?

My guess is it was Gibbons in 2004 at Cayuga... 3 laps down to win.

Best part about this deal nis it was done by pure hard driving as in those days there was no such thing as the lucky dog !!!

Are your sure it was Peter Gibbons?

Not sure on the track but I do know the driver and the laps down.

I will give a few more days before I give the answer.

I know Kerry Micks came from 3 laps down at Cayuga once .. not sure of the year though .. and it was done by hard driving, no lucky dogs back then

I guess there was to possible answers as the one I was thinking of was Peter Gibbons down 3 laps and came back to win the race and Mick also did it as well.
