very true, but i can put in/take out rear steer on a leaf in under 5 mins. Grin Grin
That long!!!off-set bushing in a 4 link,are alot quicker. Grin Grin Grin

How about 3rd link, panhard bar, tubular lowers with hiem ends and load bolt rear coils.
Now that's adjustable rear suspension, and legal here..
other than birdcages thats pretty much my slm rear suspension

Delaware could have made the ride 6 inches and not had to do all that to the back

Although we can have a ride height as low as 4" most are close to 5" now, and we keep getting faster

i just looked at the delaware rule it dosen't say you can run that stuff in a metic car 9inch and stock trailing arms or aftermarket arms not tubular nothing about jacking bolt or is that another unwritten delaware rule

Up town,the aftermarket ones are tubular,some are adjustable and does it say if they are allowed??
You can run frt and rear load bolts,read a little closer,i seen it there.

Most Delaware rules are unwritten!!!
Now I hear that they are allowing steel bodied Hooters cup cars to run as a Super Stock.  (Now that would be o.k. if all that was used from the Hooters cars would be the cage and frame, but something tells me thats not the case)
Over the last 3-4 seasons, the rule packages in all classes seemed to have really gotten out of hand.

Yeah I am a Waltrip fan, laugh all you want, I'm used to it.  Someone has to root for the underdogs.  I just really admire him for what he's building, and how much he loves what he does.  He also makes me laugh, that right there makes me a fan!!

All I know as of now about the Hooters cars, is what I've read on the grr-online forums.  Apparently Sid has 3 of DJ Kennigtons Hooters cars and converting them to Super Stocks.  (with the blessing of the race director at Delaware)  I don't know anything about Hooter cars, so I can't answer any questions.  I'm sure Sid reads this forum, so maybe he will post regarding this topic.  I do know that there is an old cascar sportsman that has been converted to a Nova, and is now a Trans Am.  How simular would a Hooters car be to a cascar sportsman? 

In my opinion (for what its worth), if this is the direction that the ss class is heading, the name should be changed to llm.

Hooter's ended their sponsorship with USARPROCUP Sanctionning Body after 2008 racing season.

USARPROCUP were sold in late January.

Now called USARacing, but still www.usarprocup.com Website.

USARacing chassis are similar to NASCAR CAMPING WORLD SERIES (Old NASCAR BUSCH NORTH SERIES).

An another sanctionning body used similar rules and chassis than USARacing.

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY COILS ARE BEST, NOT BECAUSE YOU CAN RUN FASTER BUT BECAUSE MOST RACERS PROGRESS TO THE NEXT LEVEL OR ASPIRE TO PROGRES TO A HIGHER CLASS AND INEVIDIBLY THEY WILL BE RUNNING COILS. WHY NOT LEARN THE BASICS NOW RATHER THAN STEP UP A CLASS AND HAVE TO LEARN WHILE YOU ARE IN A FASTER CAR.
