MCCOLM SEEKING MORE SUCCESS AT BARRIE

September 2, 2014.  Joey McColm and Canada’s Best Racing Team are headed to Barrie Speedway just north of Barrie, Ontario for the next round of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series this weekend.  The #25 CBRT team are looking to take another step forward after finishing with a top ten result at Barrie last year.

It was just about one year ago that McColm and Bud Morris from Canada’s Best Store Fixtures began working toward this year’s fulltime racing program and McColm rolled out the #25 CBRT car to race at Barrie Speedway.  “We’ve come a long way since then” said McColm thinking back on the journey.  “We’ve assembled a great team, built new race cars, shown some solid performance on the track and proved that we can run with the best teams in the best series in Canada” he added.

The entire #25 CBRT team is excited to be back running on oval tracks for the final couple of races remaining in the season.  “We did really well with another top ten last week at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) and we’ll be carrying momentum into this week’s race” said McColm.  “Oval tracks though are our background and we’re expecting to be even better this weekend”.

Team partners PartSource and the Toronto Maple Leafs were so impressed with McColm and the #25 CBRT team last weekend at CTMP, they have signed on again as primary backers for this weekend’s race and will be prominently displayed on the car.

Joey McColm and the #25 CBRT team are in action this coming Saturday, September 6th at Barrie Speedway with practice and qualifying in the afternoon.  The green flag drops for 300 laps of action at 7PM.
