If Barrie rains out then maybe I can see the race on Sunday. As it is I am working tomorrow night.

I think this is the first time I actually wished for a rain out  ;D

Not only do the OSCAAR teams have distance to pull so do some of the regulars at Kawartha,  right off the top of my head I'd say Watson, Jackson and Walters.  Too bad as the season is being cut in half at this pace due to the horrible weather.  And with the off weekends when they are closed due to local fairs the drivers must be chomping at the bit, cause I'm sure they want to be racing also.

Looking out the windows in my office building right now its really cool, if I look south towards the track its light clouds, but north its pure dark.

And as I'm typing this its now absolutely pouring.

I'm with you 3-wide, its nice when they wait a bit before they call it, but you have to remember, a lot of guys in OSCAAR have a long trek to the track, and its even worse for the drivers when they get there only to have it cancelled.

And I believe I read there were 17 cars in the pits last Sat when they called it at Peterborough, puts OSCAAR in a tight spot if that happens 2 weeks in a row at 2 of the tracks with the longest drive too

Well all I can see is blue skies and sunshine here in Barrie!! Should bottle it and save it for the Twin 40s tomorrow night at Barrie sounds like we might need to!!! Another question is OSCAAR racing next weekend at another track anyways?? Will they be at KD next Friday night as the replacement race for this cancelled one???

There's no racing at Kawartha next Friday. They are racing on Wednesday instead.

Nothing has been announced yet for a makeup date. Kawartha doesn't have many nights with any spare time. The 11:00pm curfew is the problem. All of the remaining Kawartha nights, except Sept 12, have something extra added to the program that would make it difficult to fit OSCAAR in.

I'm 4km up the road from the track. Its wet and raining on and off here. The sky is not clear anywhere. Unfortunataly its the right call...

Again they need to do away with weeks off for the Peterborough Ex, Millbrook Fair and Havlock Jamboree. If no nights where cancelled from rain then ok, take the week off, but otherwise make them a rain date. Could've run last week, but it was the Peterborough Ex which is a joke anyhow..

Yeah, same here in Orillia (rain on and off all day, still raining now).  I'm with ya 3-wide, this weather is unbelieveable.
