Herb had 6 points going into the night over Frank.

I think Frank gaind 2 in the heats, then gaind 4 in the feature so it should be a tie, no?

I did not see Herbs heat but I think he got a 3rd,  Frank 2nd.

Feature herb 3rd, Frank 2nd.

And 13 nights of racing based on the website.
Charlie   What are the breakdowns for points in heats and feature.Just an eg. like 24 points for winning a heat ,22 for second,20 for third etc. 60 for winning the feature 57 or 56 for second. You must have the breakdown as you run a thunder car .

Kind of makes up for a few years back when Frank and Rob Poole came down to a tie and they kept having to add it up and recheck and look at wins etc and I think Frank lost by one or two points then went to BSW the next year.

Nice to see the battle for first from 2 great, clean drivers.

Due to the fact that Sunset is counting the best 13 nights of racing, and the Thunder Cars only ran 13 points nights, this means that "Flyin' Frank Davey" won the Championship by a slim margin of 2 points over Herb Walters. What a battle to the finish. I think they should have a grudge match this Saturday with just the two of them on the track with a 5 lap shoot-out!!! Anyone else want to see this???
